To be a lovely flower?
To start of as a tiny bud
Unleashing all that power?
Unfurl the petals, spread my wings
And face towards the sun.
A bloom of colour, bright and gay,
Bring joy to everyone!
A feast for insects, flies and bees,
And pollen in return,
Until a man with secateurs
Severs my head.
